ROUNDTABLE FORMAT

Is this the secret of our past successes?
Well it’s definitely up there as one of the top ingredients

What is it?

Instead of ramming in as many seats as possible into the conference room, which is tempting as it’s more economical for us as the organisers, we lay the conference room out like a wedding reception (as opposed to a wedding ceremony).

Why do we do it?

We don’t want a room full of people being lectured to (although admittedly we’re all students at the University of Life). Instead we want presentations to fuel discussions and therefore having a seating format that means that you can easily interact with your peers is vital. That is why the Interactive Roundtable Format is so key at our events.

What’s it (not) like?

You’re not sat with one person either side of you, falling asleep after lunch. You’re going to be sat with up to 11 key industry stakeholders. Following information packed presentations you’ll be requested to interact directly with those people, to discuss what you’ve heard and to form discussion points.

What’s the result?

We’ve used this format at all of our previous events and the response has been phenomenal – attendees love it.

You don’t just talk to the people you know or feel awkward approaching people you don’t.

You’re actively encouraged to meet people and are given the opportunities to engage. The seating format we use will multiply the quality of your event experience – it will deliver you better value for the time and financial resources that you’ve invested to be at the event.
